[Nov 2004] Eyes are now on Baguio City as ICT companies are now making this famous city their business hub.
And while some companies are leaving the country for various reasons, PEZA Director General Lilia de Lima has recently signed the Registration Agreement (as an Ecozone IT Enterprise ) with Transcripro Philippines, Inc. (TPI) for the latter's operation as a PEZA locator particularly at the Baguio City Economic Zone. The contract signing came after the PEZA Board issued a Board Resolution approving TPI's application as a PEZA locator.
TPI, a medical and legal transcription facility, is an all-Filipino company. As such, it takes advantage of the booming outsourced industry, by bringing in jobs (medical and legal transcription) to the Philippines .
Last June, TPI opened its Training Division (at the Ground Floor of Lyman Ogilby Centrum, Baguio City) which gives a high-standard training for would be Medical and Legal Transcriptionists.
